The November meeting of the Greene County Iowa Geological Society will be held Saturday, November 2 at 10:00 am. Deb Kucerak will present a program on Forensic Genealogy. Our meeting is open to everyone. It will be held in the basement of the Jefferson Public Library. It is handicapped accessible. Our reference library is open Wednesday 2-3 pm and Saturday 9-11 am and to members during regular library hours

Find out more »The Washington Township School Foundation will be serving breakfast Saturday, November 9, from 7:30 – 10 A.M. at the Washington School building. The former school now a community building is seven miles south of Perry on P58. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, juice and coffee will be served. Free will donation funds to maintain and improve the building.
