The West Central Valley Wildcats boys soccer team finished with a record of 7-10 last year, but are coming in with some expectations this upcoming spring as they return everyone from their team last year except for one senior. WCV tallied 43 goals during last year’s season, which includes the impressive tally of senior Weston Pote who had 21 goals and 52 points total.
The senior will be one of the best players in the West Central Activities Conference, as he was able to create a lot of scoring opportunities for teammates, and showed excellent control and poise to help spearhead the attack.
The season last year with defined by streaks, as the team was able to create a three and four game winning streak, while also getting two, three, and five game losing streaks as well.
If West Central Valley can rely on their stars, and avoid losing streaks, they could potentially be a solid team in the West Central Activities Conference this year.
