| The American Legion Auxiliary from Guthrie Center, Unit #124 is hosting the first ever Red, White & Blue Cruise on Saturday May 20, 2023 to raise funds to support Veterans and active military personnel. All side by sides, ATV’s and Jeeps are encouraged to join in the ride. All morning activities take place at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds with breakfast provided by Main Street Guthrie Center from 7:30- 9:30, ride registration starting at 8:30 and ending at 9:45 followed by a participant meeting in the Amphitheatre. Wheels are slated to move at 10am with stops including Short’s Place in Menlo, the original Freedom Rock on Hwy 25, Casey Creamery, Pioneer’s Pub and Grub, Slayton’s Rock and ending at Blue Goose- Richter Bar in Adair. Food and drink will be available at various locations. A 50/50 raffle will be available along with other raffle prizes being awarded at 5:00pm back at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds where camping and trailer parking are available.
