A Greene County library is offering a free program to learn more about an addictive habit.
New Opportunities Problem Gambling Counselor Dorinda Wehde will be leading an educational session about gaming and how it can turn into an addiction. The topics that will be discussed include exploring the similarities of video games and gambling, learning how video game developers design programs to be addictive, identifying the symptoms and the gambling lifestyle changes, along with the risks that are associated with gambling.
The free program will be held at the Paton Public Library on Wednesday, August 2nd at 5pm.
