Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is hosting a volunteer event at Perkins Prairie, an Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation owned and stewarded prairie preserve adjacent to Seven Hills County Park in Greene County.  It will be held on Saturday, December 12th from 10 am to noon.  Volunteers will help remove brush and non-native plants from the prairie to help it thrive.  All are invited to attend this fun and socially distanced event.  Contact volunteer coordinator Melanie Schmidt for more information.
