Jefferson- Saturday, January 6, at 10:00 am, the Greene County Iowa Genealogical Society will meet. Assistance in finding more information about our farming ancestors will be our program. Mary Ealy’s topic will be on using Plat books and understanding land descriptions, to find where our ancestors lived and worked. The meeting room at the Jefferson Public Library basement is handicap accessible. Members and nonmembers are welcome.
