The July 09, 2022 State Association for the Preservation of Iowa Cemeteries (SAPIC) meeting will be held at the Guthrie County Historical Village (GCHV.com), 206 W South Street, Panora, IA in the 1913 church. Iced tea, water and sweets will be served at 9:00 a.m. prior to the 10:00 a.m. meeting. Rod Stanley who heads the Guthrie County cemetery preservation program will share the work-in-progress in the cemeteries. Rod will provide a tour of West Cemetery located west of Panorama High School. Directions to Guthrie County Historical Village: travel Main Street in Panora turning south on W South Street for three blocks. A windmill greets you at the entrance. Parking is available on the north and east areas of the four-acre village. Lodging and camping are available at Lenon Mill Park, The Port on Lake Panorama, Lake Panorama National Suites and in other Guthrie County towns.
