The July 09, 2022 State Association for the Preservation of Iowa Cemeteries (SAPIC) meeting will be held at the Guthrie County Historical Village (GCHV.com), 206 W South Street, Panora, IA in the 1913 church.  Iced tea, water and sweets will be served at 9:00 a.m. prior to the 10:00 a.m. meeting.  Rod Stanley who heads the Guthrie County cemetery preservation program will share the work-in-progress in the cemeteries.  Rod will provide a tour of West Cemetery located west of Panorama High School.  Directions to Guthrie County Historical Village: travel Main Street in Panora turning south on W South Street for three blocks.  A windmill greets you at the entrance.  Parking is available on the north and east areas of the four-acre village.  Lodging and camping are available at Lenon Mill Park, The Port on Lake Panorama, Lake Panorama National Suites and in other Guthrie County towns.   Please let us know you plan to attend to assist with planning to Dr. Mary Richards at mrichards@netins.net.  We look forward to seeing you at the July 9 State Association for the Preservation of Iowa Cemeteries meeting in Panora.
