We are getting closer to the June 7th primary election and time is running out to request an absentee ballot.
Greene County Auditor’s office will accept absentee ballots during normal business hours from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday until 9pm on election day. The final day to request an absentee ballot is Friday, June 3rd. The request form must be filled out in the Auditor’s office. As of Wednesday, there were 63 absentee ballots sent to residents.
As for those needing to register to vote, the final day is today to be eligible for the June primary election. Those registering in the Auditor’s office must bring their driver’s license with a current address.
