It was a rather wet and dreary day as the 2016 edition of the Raccoon River Conference golf tournament took place early yesterday morning. Despite the weather challenges both ADM Tiger golf teams put up great performances within their respective meets.
The ADM boys golf team had a phenomenal conference meet missing out on the top spot by just one stroke giving the Tigers second place for the meet. The Tigers as a team scored a 156 on the day as the Boon Toreadors was the team to edge out ADM as they shot a shot a collective 155 on the tournament. The Tigers had three golfers inside the top 11 for conference honors as Will Geadelman and Micah Moyer both shot a 3 over 39 for the 8th and 9th spots respectively while Matthew West took 5th overall with a 2 over 38 for the tournament. The final standings for the tournament are as follows:

In Perry at the Perry Golf and Country Club the Lady Tigers came out victorious winning the outright Raccoon River Conference crown. The Lady Tigers took the top spot with a team score of 399 on the heels of top five performances from Tania Telford, Lindsey Lang, and Nicole Bever. Telford took the top medalist honor shooting a 93 on the day with Lang right on her heels for second shooting a 95; Nicole Bever also found herself in the top 5 after shooting a 104 on the day. The final team results are as follows:

Next up for the ADM boys golf team will be reuniting with last year’s sectional sight at the Atlantic Golf & Country Club in Atlantic on Friday May 13th. For the Lady Tigers their next chance to get back on to the course will be Monday, May 23rd for their Regional meet at the Westwood Golf Course in Newton.
