The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

Items on the agenda include public hearings in regards to the fiscal year 2016 budget amendment and a rezoning request for 1215 Greene Street.

New business items include approval of the budget amendment and rezoning, updates to the employee handbook, approval of a garbage and recycling contract, approval of a fee waiver request from the Dallas County Sheriff’s office and approval of the Bacoon Ride.

The Council will then hear an update on the subdivision ordinance, discuss the city owned lot at 425 River Street, approve a financial officer, discuss zoning and consider approving three final plats.

The meeting takes place at 6pm at the Adel City Hall.
