A few of the ADM spring sports will get to enjoy the great weather today as both girls and boys track along with boys golf team are active in a Saturday edition of ADM athletics.

The ADM boys golf team will be fresh off a victory against the Perry Blue Jays on Thursday. The Tigers defeated the Blue Jays 162-167. Jacob Schumacher tied his low nine hole score at 38 on the season as he was a runner up for the Tigers. Today Schumacher and the Tigers will head to Ames to square off in an invitational against Iowa Falls-Alden, West Delaware, Gilbert, and fellow Raccoon River Conference opponents Ballard and Boon. The meet at Ames Country Club is scheduled for 9:00 this morning.

On the track side of things possibly the second most important meet for both the boys and girls track teams would be their respective RRC meets. Both are fresh off of solid performances and both come into their conference meets today yielding some events leaders within the conference.

For the boys Jacob West will head into today number one in the conference in the high jump at 6″4′ on the year. The Lady Tigers have two event leaders in seniors Maggi Bjustrom and Brianna Mueller. Mueller tops the conference in the 800 meter run with her time of 2:19 back on April 19th in Grimes and Bjustrom leads the conference in the 100 meter hurdles with her time of 14.66 which she obtained at the Drake Relays.

Both conference meets for the boys and girls will commence at 10:00 this morning.
