With the Drake Relays just two days away qualifiers are gearing up with the few meets that remain.

For the ADM Lady Tiger track team, Maggi Bjustrom will be representing the Tigers at the Drake Relays. Bujstrom will be participating in the 100 meter hurdles for the Lady Tigers, an event that she has been very efficient with. Bjustrom has obtained no worse than a second place finish in the 100 meter hurdles in almost every meet dating back to the start of the outdoor season. The only meet in which the senior didn’t earn a top spot in the 100 meter hurdles is when she earned a first place finish in the 100 meter dash at the DC-G Fillie Invitational.

Per Iowa quick stats, Bjustrom leads leads all of class 3A in the 100 meter hurdle times at 15.25 seconds.

Bjustrom and the rest of the Lady Tigers will have one more meet to prepare for the Drake Relays as they host a home track meet in Van Meter tonight. They will be welcoming in Boon, Dallas Center-Grimes, Des Moines North, Perry, Van Meter, and Waukee. The meet is scheduled to commence at 4:30 pm.
