Perry middle and high school students performed well at the state Technology Student Association competition recently.
In the middle school division the team of Cayden Widen, Konnor Eppert and Sierra Newton earned 1st place in the catapult contest, Caden Steva and Andrew Galindo won the problem solving contest and Jaylene Karolus and Sharitzy Romero earned 1st place in structural engineering.
High schooler David Santacruz won 1st place in the flight endurance contest and Devin Patrick and Angel Escobar won the technology problem solving competition.
The contest took place at the Adventureland Resort in Altoona April 11th and 12th.
