A deputy was dispatched to the Pit Stop Gas Station in Paton to check the identity of a male hitchhiker that was loitering around the business.
A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Hill Avenue in Churdan for a reported personal property civil issue. After an investigation by the deputy, Justin Trevor Tysseling 22, of Churdan, was arrested for Assault Simple.
A deputy responded to a noise complaint in the 900 block of East Highway 30 in Grand Junction. Those persons involved agreed to reduce the noise level.
Saturday, April 16th
A deputy was not able to locate a reported male subject walking along the roadway on Highway 4, north of 110th Street.
A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Harding Street in Churdan to help mediate a verbal domestic altercation involving personal property.
A deputy was dispatched to investigate a reported burglary and theft of personal property from a farm building site in northern Greene County.
A deputy was dispatched to the 1100 block of State Street in Scranton to investigate criminal mischief to a vehicle.
A deputy was asked to check the welfare of a male subject in the 600 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction that was threatening to harm himself. The male was later transported by the deputy to the Greene County Medical Center for further evaluation.
A deputy was advised of a harassment concern in the 800 block of North 18th Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy was advised of a vehicle blocking the roadway in the 1100 block of State Street in Scranton. The vehicle in question was not located at that time.
A deputy was advised of a vehicle driving without lights in Grand Junction.
Sunday, April 17th
A deputy, Alliant Energy and Jefferson Fire units all responded to a power line that was on the ground and had caused a grass fire in the 1500 block of 220th Street.
A deputy spoke with a resident in the 1400 block of J Avenue about a harassment concern.
A deputy assisted a housing inspector with checking a vacant home in the 200 block of South 6th Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy spoke with a Greene County resident about the proper committal procedure for substance abuse regarding a family member.
A deputy was dispatched to Churdan to investigate criminal mischief to several windows in the Lions Club Caboose at the city park on Highway 4. The two juvenile males responsible were located and spoken to about the consequences. The two young boys and the parents agreed to replace the windows.
A deputy was dispatched to North 16th Street in Grand Junction to locate the source of a loud go-cart that was operating on private property. The owner was advised of the noise concern at that time of the day.
A deputy was dispatched to the 2400 block of 337th Street to investigate a reported assault. The investigation is ongoing.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
