Stuart City Council Meets Tonight to Address Many Issues in a Special Session
The Stuart City Council will meet tonight in a special session.
They will discuss assessment and development agreements with Kading Properties and hold public hearings for vacating a right of way and alley, a general obligation loan of $910,000 and general obligation funding for municipal electric totaling $190,000.
Additionally, the Council will vote on an ordinance to designate an area of the City as a multi-residential urban revitalization area.
Plus, the Council will discuss the purchase of an alleyway at 220 North Adair Street, the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) bus barn, municipal infractions and the City’s financial plan.
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. inside of the City Hall Council Chambers.

A free event to celebrate those who have beaten cancer will take place this week in Guthrie Center.
The annual event, hosted by the Relay for Life of Guthrie County, will take place Thursday from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Sneakers Cafe inside of Guthrie County Hospital.
The inspirational event is designed for cancer survivors, caregivers and the general public to share their stories and inspire others to beat cancer.
