Coach Dave Destival’s Greene County boys’ golf team shot a season low for nine holes on Tuesday, but still lost to Ballard (Huxley) at the Jefferson Community Golf Course, 166-196. The Rams were missing two varsity players due to illness, but still had a season best score on a cool and windy day.

Elijah Block led the Rams with a 42. Bryce Burkhardt and Isaiah Yoder each shot 50, and Wyatt Funke shot 54.

Ballard had the medalist and runner-up in Colby Jensen at 39 and Nick Baumhover at 41.

A change in the Greene County schedule has been announced. Instead of hosting Carlisle on April 21 for nine holes, the Rams host the Wildcats on Saturday, April 16 for 18 holes at Jefferson Community Golf Course starting at 8:30 a.m.
