A county road in Guthrie County will close next week so crews can construct a Raccoon River Valley Trail crossing.

Conservation Director Joe Hanner says 245th Street approximately one mile northwest of Linden will be closed beginning Monday, April 18th. Weather permitting, the project is expected to take less than two weeks to complete.

Additionally, cyclists will have to walk their bikes around the construction area during the project. For more information call 641-755-3061.
