The Greene County girls’ golf team won a triangular on Thursday at The Hill west of Grand Junction vs. Des Moines Christian and Perry. Coach Heath Telleen’s team shot 215 with Perry at 226 and DMC 256.

Ram sophomore Rachel Danielson was meet medalist with a 47. Perry’s Brooke Huntington was runner-up at 52. Rounding out the scoring for the Rams were Katelyn Hagen and Nicole Rohner, each at 53, and  Alison Gallagher at 62.

Coach Telleen said he was impressed with the team for playing well in difficult conditions, and shooting three shots lower than the team of 2015 shot. “It was nice to get a couple of wins,” the coach added.

The nine-hole event was held in cold and windy conditions with occasional light rain.
