Guthrie County Hospital is launching a new event with their first ever Wellness Fair tomorrow.

Marketing committee member Jennie Sudbrock says the hospital wanted to do something new in showcasing their many services. “We got together and thought about what would be best for the hospitals and clinics and something we haven’t done yet. We thought of doing this wellness fair just to show the communities all that we have to offer.”

The fair takes place Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon at the hospital’s fitness center featuring many activities, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, preschool speech screenings, adult cognitive screenings, child car seat checks, nutrition presentations, refreshments and door prizes. The event is free and open to the public.
