As we’ve reported, the West Central Valley Activities Department recently held a fundraiser in which they sold Casey’s General Store pizza discount cards for $20 per card.

Activities Director Tod Broman says District administration is pleased with the nearly $7,000 raised from the fundraiser. “When I talked with our District Business Manager, Symantha Crawford, she had a big smile on her face. This is actually the first time we’ve had a spring fundraiser. Our activity fund usually around this time is almost in the red, heading into summer. This fundraiser will help us stay in the black through the end of the school year.”

He adds that many of the funds will go to purchase new uniforms for sports teams.
