Carroll High defeated Greene County 170-205 in the season opening boys’ golf meet for both teams. The action took place Monday at Jefferson Community Golf Course. Carroll’s Koby Paulsen was medalist for the nine holes at 40 and Carroll’ s Drake Warner was runner-up at 42.

Greene County was led by Elijah Block at 43. Other scores for the Rams were 50 by Ben Wilkins, 55 for Isaiah Yoder, and 57 from Chase Juergensen.

The meet was played under sunny skies with light winds and temperatures in the low 50s.
