The ADM boys soccer team had a strong showing in their scrimmage against a very tough Norwalk team on Tuesday.
The Tigers drew a 0-0 tie against the third placed team in last years state tournament in their first competitive action of the season.
ADM played a very solid match which yielded a couple of strong points for the Tigers as they prepare for the start of their season which will begin this Friday starting at 7:00 pm at Bondurant-Farrar high school.
One of the strong points that ADM boys head soccer coach Bill Shields pointed out was both the awareness and movement of the ball by the Tiger mid fielders.
“The midfield guys I thought began to realize what they had to do and where they had to be. The movement off the ball as time went on was a lot better,” explained coach Shields.
Coach Shields also talked about the good work of the Tiger defense.
“Our defense I thought was pretty solid. We didn’t let Norwalk have much time in the box,” stated coach Shields.
The boys soccer team will now wait with baited breath until the official start of their 2016 campaign when they travel to Bondurant-Farrar for a 7:00 pm match this Friday.
