With the merger between West Central Cooperative and Farmers Cooperative to be completed tomorrow, officials wanted to alert customers of some delays.

Both cooperatives expect delays starting this afternoon, but will remain open for business, as each begins their regular month-end processes early so that they can begin merging the back-end of their computer systems to be ready to go on April 1st.

Services that the delays will affect include agronomy product delivery or pickup being recorded on the April statements; grain deliveries will be accepted until noon, but they will issue payments until 2pm and no new animal nutrition and feed customer orders will be processed this afternoon for same-day manufacturing. However, deliveries will continue, with any activity to be recorded on the April statement.

Chief Executive Officer Milan Kucerak appreciates everyone’s patience as they continue with their monumental task of completing the merger.

Both cooperative’s members voted in favor of the merger in December. The two companies will be known as the united Landus Cooperative starting Friday.
