The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce held their annual celebration Tuesday.

Attendees enjoyed a cocktail hour, dinner, speech from Van Harden and raffle prizes while networking with their peers.

The highlight of the evening however was the announcement of this year’s award winners.

Citizen of the Year finalists were Dennis Leininger, Shirley McAdon and Doug Zeigler, with Zeigler taking home the prize. An employee of Raccoon Valley Bank and longtime chamber board member, Zeigler was nominated by several people for his help in preparing for the Sweet Corn Festival and involvement in Adel Enterprise among several other committees.

Business of the Year finalists this year were Adel Family Fun Center, Fareway, Fuller’s Standard and G Rafics/Discover Adel.  Tom and Linda Fuller with Fuller’s Petroleum are this year’s recipients.  They were chosen based on being great supporters of the community and ADM schools.
