The Guthrie Center Community School District will be bidding farewell to two retiring teachers at the end of the school year.
Math teacher Sharon Wessling will be hanging up her chalk after serving the district for 40 years. Reading teacher Linda Powell has been with the district since 1997 and will also be retiring.
Both individuals are thanked for their years of service by Guthrie Center students and staff.
