Perry High School students will be able to learn more about the justice system tomorrow from someone who knows it best.
Supreme Court Justice Daryl Hecht will visit with students to talk about the role courts have in Iowa at 9am Thursday. It’s one of eight stops the justices are making this week to reach out to area youth.
Justice Hecht was appointed to the Iowa Supreme Court in 2006 by Governor Tom Vilsack, his current term expires at the end of this year.
