A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with trying to locate a male subject missing from the casino parking lot. The male was later located in Paton and found to be safe.
A deputy was dispatched to the 2200 block of V Avenue to investigate the report of someone hearing gun shots. The source of the alleged shots was never determined.
Three members of the Greene County Sheriff’s Office checked two vehicles parked in a farm field driveway in the 1200 block of 190th Street. It was determined that the vehicles owners and several other males were setting up Snow Geese decoys in the middle of the field for the early Snow Goose season.
A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Eagle Street in Scranton for the report of a careless driver. The vehicle and driver were found and the juvenile driver was issued a citation for the Violation of a Restricted License.
A deputy was advised of off road dirt bikes being ridden on the roadway in the 200 block of 260th Street.
A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Lovejoy Street in Rippey to check a vacant residence. It was determined that someone had gained entry into the house with no damage other than the front door.
A deputy was advised of a burglary and the theft of personal property from a residence on T Avenue.
A deputy spoke with a resident in the 300 block of 150th Street about some personal papers that were taken from his home.
A deputy checked a reported vehicle that was experiencing mechanical problems on S Avenue just north of 220th Street. The owner stated that the car would be removed on Tuesday.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
