State Auditor Mary Mosiman has released a fiscal year 2015 audit report on Adair County.

The county had local tax revenue of $17.36 million for the year, which included $1.23 million in state tax credits. $12.35 million of revenue was forwarded to townships, school districts, cities and other taxing bodies in the county. $5.01 million was retained by the County for operating expenses.

Expenses for the year totaled $9.51 million. The largest amounts were $5.59 million for roads and transportation and $1.33 million for public safety and legal services.
