The Lady Tigers have fought and clawed their way through the first two rounds of the postseason, overcoming the Winterset Huskies in the first round and pulling out a one point win to beat 11th ranked Dallas Center-Grimes in the second round.

Now as the Lady Tigers enter their third round of postseason basketball, ADM will be facing their second straight David vs Goliath story match up against the 2nd ranked team in class 4A Lewis Central. The Lady Titans are 19-1 overall on the year who’s only loss was to the third ranked Harlan Cyclones. It may seem like a daunting task, but the Lady Tigers have performed such a feat before, and they look to do it again tonight.

There’s a lot of similarities between these two squads and ADM will have to face a little bit of their own medicine in this game. Head coach Cory Schneider told Raccoon Valley Radio that the biggest obstacle in this game for ADM will be the amount of fast paced pressure that will ensue from the Titans.

“We’ve got to handle their pressure, they do a lot of presses. They are always looking to push the ball up the court. We’ve got to make sure we’re handling their pressure and not turning the ball over,” explained coach Schneider.
