The 2015 audit report for the Greene County Community School District was recently released.
According to the district’s accounting firm Nolte, Cornman and Johnson, the district’s general fund revenues were $15,392,641 for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2015. Expenses totaled $15,549,454. Expenses outpaced revenues, which caused the district’s general fund balance to decrease by a 9.33 percent from a restated balance of $1,681,341 at July 1, 2014 to $1,524,528 on June 30, 2015.
At the end of the 2015 fiscal year, the district had $10,740,136 in revenue bonds and other outstanding long-term debt.
