Mass of Christian Burial for Laverne Erickson, 88, of Boone and formerly of Grand Junction, will be Saturday at 1 pm at the St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction.  Visitation will be Friday after 10 am at the St. Brigid Catholic Church.  Family will be present from 6 pm to 8 pm with a Vigil Service for the public at 7 pm.  Memorials in his name may be sent to the Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson.  Survivors include:  Wife, Ima Lee of Boone.  Daughter, Debbi Stong of Washington, D.C.  Sons, Tom Erickson of Williamsburg, John Erickson of Lincoln, Nebraska, Alan Erickson of Denver, Colorado and Gary Erickson of Ames.  16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  Brothers, Al Erickson of Mesa, Arizona and Ken Erickson of Fairfield.
