The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board is expected to sign a letter of support for a grant application for Genesis Development. A public hearing will then be held for a hog confinement expansion in Highland Township followed by the Board’s recommendation to the Department of Natural Resources.
Several county departments will present their budget proposals for the 2017 fiscal year. The departments include conservation, treasurer, auditor and clerk.
Finally, the Board will consider the last set of security policies for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
The meeting will be at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
