A deputy was dispatched to the Greene County Intermediate School in Grand Junction for a car that parked on school property. The owner was advised and assured the deputy that the car would be moved.
A deputy was dispatched to investigate the report of a car-deer accident on 237th Street (Old Highway 30) near Kirkwood Avenue. Melinda Marie Madison-Millard 40, of Jefferson, was eastbound on 237th Street when a deer ran onto the roadway and struck her 2001 Dodge Caravan. Millard sustained a minor shoulder injury and later went to the Greene County Medical Center for further medical help. Damage to the vehicle was estimated to be $3500. A DNR salvage tag for the deer was also issued to Melinda Millard at that time.
A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of South 12th Street in Grand Junction to help with an unruly child. The deputy was able to resolve the altercation without incident.
A deputy spoke with a resident in the 200 block of Anyer Street in Dana about a harassment concern.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
