Everyone is invited to a special political program on Sunday in Jefferson.
The Greene County Historical Society, in conjunction with Humanities Iowa, is sponsoring guest speaker and longtime political reporter and writer Mike Glover to the historical museum.
From his early days covering candidates in Fort Dodge in the 1970’s to today, Glover’s job with the Associated Press and Iowa Public Television, has taken him to all 50 states. He will share some of his experiences covering the political scene, the candidates he’s interviewed and give a history of the Iowa Caucuses.
Both the Republican and Democrat parties for Greene County will hold their respective caucuses on February 1st.
The event will be at 2pm with refreshments to be served. It is free and open to the public.
