The winter reading programs are continuing at the Perry Public Library.
Children ages 12 and younger are focusing on colors this season, which librarian Suzanne Kestel says everyone enjoys.
“What we’ve talked about so far is the rainbow and different colors in the rainbow and how you mix the three primary colors to get the secondary colors. We’re going to have one more week on mixing and talk about those third colors, the tertiary colors. Then we’re going on to separate (colors, like) red, yellow, blue. The children are still welcome to come to it because we’ll be going for another month at least.”
Children ages eighteen months to three years old meet on Tuesdays, and kids ages four and five and families can join in Wednesdays, both from 10:15 until 11am. Wee Wonders for babies up to eighteen months meet on Thursdays from 10:30 until 11:30.
If you have questions about any of these free programs, stop by the library or call 465-3569.
