Voters in Dallas Center are encouraged to head to the polls next month for a special election.

There are two candidates on the ballot to fill a vacancy on the City Council.  Julie Becker and Curtis Pion are both hoping for enough votes on February 2^nd.

All eligible voters living in the city can vote in the election and polls will be open at the 1^st Presbyterian Church from 7am until 8pm.

Those who would like to vote via an absentee ballot can request one from the Auditor’s office through January 29^th.  The Dallas County Supervisors will canvass the election results Thursday, February 4^th.
