The Jefferson City Council met last night in regular session.
The Council approved to pay Greene County Development Corporation their quarterly funding request following an update from Economic Development Director Ken Paxton.
Other items that the Council approved included an annual tax increment financing appropriation not to exceed $19,000 to Lincoln Ridge Estates, a resolution to purchase the property at 703 North Chestnut Street through a tax sale certificate, creating and advertising a public works director position and a letter of engagement with Franks Design Group to not exceed $20,000 for the Community Development Block Grant.
The Council then conducted a quarterly meeting with Jefferson Matters: Main Street. The meeting then ended in a priority budget workshop.
