We’re just three days away from Small Business Saturday.

Main Street Guthrie Center Director Julie Bailey says the event helps to support the local economy. “We are encouraging people to shop local that day. We try to do that throughout the year, but this one day gives us an opportunity to really focus on that. We have a lot of materials that came out of the American Express sponsorship of this, that we receive free of charge. There are a lot of things on display in local businesses pointing them towards that Saturday. Heading into the holidays, we really want people to understand the importance of shopping at these local businesses and supporting things in their own community.”
