The ADM girls basketball team is in their first week of practice, and hoping to compete in a Raccoon River Conference that once again has no shortage of talent. Head coach Corey Schneider enters his 2nd year at the helm, and welcomes back the Tigers’ top three scorers from a year ago. Last year, the Tigers showed signs of being a dangerous team, beating ranked Perry and Winterset squads, while hanging with other ranked teams on a number of occasions.
According to the final rankings released last season by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU), Ballard finished 3rd in class 4A, Carlisle 4th overall, and Perry 12th. Once again, the Tigers will be faced with the task of competing against talented conference foes on a nightly basis. ADM plays a home and away game against each member of the Raccoon River Conference, with their first conference game scheduled for Friday, December 4th against Winterset.
