The Jefferson BPO Does are once again hosting their annual silent basket auction.

Over 60 baskets are on display for bidding in the east room of the Greene County Courthouse in Jefferson.  Member Shirley Danielson says all the baskets are themed baskets.  Some of the them include a basket for hunters, there’s one for cat lovers, along with kitchen supplies, a John Deere basket, an “Evening Out” basket with jewelry, scarves and much more.

100 percent of the money raised goes directly to Greene County Adopt-A-Family.  Danielson says last year, they raised over $4,000.

Bidding will end on November 24th at 6pm.  The winners will be announced following the final bids and you don’t need to be present to win.
