Dallas County Hospitals Chief Executive Officer is being recognized as a great young leader.
Matt Willie was presented with the Iowa Hospital Association’s Young Executive Achievement Award at their annual meeting earlier this month.
The award recognizes up-and-coming health care executives under 40 who have made a significant contribution to health care in the state of Iowa.
The hospital’s Chief Clinical Officer, Donna Vandehaar, says the award was well deserved.
“In my career of over forty three years, I have worked in nursing leadership in fie Iowa organizations and I can honestly say that (Willie) rises to the top of being an outstanding young executive.”
Vandehaar goes on to say that Willie is knowledgeable, visionary and challenging and allows his staff to grow into new opportunities.
Willie has served as CEO at Dallas County Hospital since 2010. Today is his last day in Perry. He has accepted a position with Allina Health in the Twin Cities.
