Last week’s Stuart Library Foundation Auction was a resounding success.
Foundation member Rita Faust says nearly 100 people attended the Thursday night auction at the library to bid on dozens of items. Proceeds from the auction totaled $5,500 which Faust says exceeds last year’s auction total of $5,300.
The money will be used to purchase new books and pay for library programming.
