After more than three weeks of completely dry weather, little bit of rain finally fell over the Raccoon River Valley this week.

According to the National Weather Service, Perry received 0.12 inch of precipitation since our last report and Jefferson received 0.08 inch, Guthrie Center remains completely dry this October.

Normally, our local area sees around 2.5 inches of rain during the month of October.
