As the weather continues to get cooler, area park amenities are closing up for the season.

Bathrooms at Perry’s Wiese Park, Perkins Park and Pattee Park are being closed up today, while the water fountains and restrooms at the Perry Dog Park and the ball fields have already been winterized and are closed for the season.

Additionally, the restrooms at most Dallas County parks will be locked and closed for the season by the end of the month though gates will remain open for park usage during the posted hours.
