Nominations are still being accepted for the Developing Dynamic Leadership workshop with Iowa State University Extension and Midwest Partnership.
Greene County ISU Extension Director Lori Mannel says it is a two-day class and will involve several speakers that will cover topics relating to individual and team leadership skills. The first day will feature topics on work-life balance, the colors personality test, listening and communicating. Topics for the second day include teen leadership, effective decision making and empowerment.
Mannel says the workshop is open to anyone and it is a great opportunity to network with other people from different counties. She adds that she is planning on doing a Greene County leadership course next year.
It will be held at the Lake Panorama National Conference Center in Panora on November 4th and 5th. Cost for the class is $150 per person. For more information or to sign up, call the Extension office in Jefferson at 386-2138 or Midwest Partnership at 515-523-1262.
