Funeral services for Eleanor Meinecke, 94, of Jamaica will be at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson on Thursday October 22, at   10:00 a. m. with burial in Franklin Township Cemetery, Cooper. Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson with family present from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Memorials may be sent to the Cooper United Methodist Church or to the Jamaica Fire and Rescue and may be sent to the Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Sherry Achbrenner of Monticello; son, Thomas Meinecke of Panora; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Stephen Molle of Jefferson; 3 sister-in-law’s Pauline Shaw, Dallas, Texas, Roberta Meinecke of Jefferson and Margaret Meinecke, of Perry.
