Absentee ballots are now available for next month’s city elections.

Voters in Dallas County may cast a ballot at the auditor’s office during regular business hours from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Ballots can also be requested in writing by filling out a form at the auditor’s office or by printing off the form on the Dallas County website and mailing it in.

Ballots returned through the mail need to be postmarked by midnight on November 2nd, though Dallas County Auditor Gene Krumm encourages voters to send them back before October 30th. All request for absentee ballots also need to be received by the auditor’s office by 5pm on the 30th.
