The Dallas County Conservation Board invites everyone out to the Forest Park Museum this weekend for an up close and personal look at life going on in our local prairies.
The Insect Sweep program takes place from 1-3pm Saturday. A naturalist will lead participants through the fields around the park, insect nets in hand. Attendees will tag monarchs and identify other species out in the wild.
Those who plan to participate in the family friendly and free program are urged to wear long pants and closed toe shoes.
Registration is recommended. To reserve your spot call 465-3577.
