A deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction to investigate the theft of electricity from the Grand Junction Municipal Light Plant by manipulation of the pole meter.
A deputy was advised of a male and female subject that were reported to be having a verbal altercation along the roadway on 230th Street near S Avenue. After an investigation by the deputy, the female was given a ride back to Grand Junction by friends and the male subject was later located in Jefferson and issued a citation for Driving While Suspended.
A deputy assisted with traffic control on 240th Street, on the Danger Hill grade, after an SUV pulling a trailer developed several flat tires on the trailer.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a missing black steer in the 1200 block of 110th Street.
A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of East Rebecca Street in Grand Junction to investigate the reported theft of bath towels that were taken from the Grand Junction Laundromat. Video from the laundromat is being reviewed at this time.
The Sheriff and a deputy checked several vehicles parked along the roadway on Highway 30 near Pioneer Avenue. One of the vehicles had been parked along the roadway for several days and the owner was preparing to tow the vehicle.
A deputy, while on routine patrol in Grand Junction, was advised of an unruly juvenile male that would not comply with his grandmother. After speaking with the male subject he was transported to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center to be transported to a juvenile facility.
A deputy was dispatched to the 1700 block of W Avenue for the report of two persons walking along the roadway. For safety concerns, the two females were transported by the deputy to their residence in Rippey.
A deputy located and arrested Lance Michael Ross 18, of Grand Junction, on an outstanding warrant, and transported him to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilt.
