A total of 3,336 ballots school board election ballots were cast in Dallas County this week, equal to just over seven percent of all registered voters.
In the Perry School District, where voters picked up to three candidates to serve as at-large directors, a total of 1,435 votes were recorded.
Challenger Linda Andorf received the most votes with 331, or 23 percent of the ballots cast. Incumbent Jim Lutmer came in second with 259 votes or 18 percent and incumbent Kenia Alarcon received 241 votes or around 16.8 percent to secure another term on the board.
Susan Brelsford was just three votes away from being elected with 238 votes, Pete Malmberg received 197 votes and 164 votes were cast for Corey Eastman.
Election results will be made official once they are canvassed by the Dallas County Board of Supervisors during a special meeting Friday at 1pm in Adel.
